Everyone needs a place to put the crazy in their life. For us, this is that place.

"When I was a kid, one of the rides at KiddieLand busted out my front tooth so I had to get a fake one. It's not as cool as, say, having an eye patch, but you take what you can get, I guess. Anyway, they shut that place down."
-Martha
"About us? What's to know about us? I had a diary with a kitten on the cover in fourth grade. Does that help?"
-Catherine

Oh crap. Was I not nice to you? I hope it wasn't me. Wait, I think I know you pretty well, so it couldn't have been me. I no longer bother with being nice-to-death...I've gotten better at being blunt. But you could just do a lot of fake gushing about his/her hairdo, shoes, taste in music, etc.
Ugh. When I picked up the kids from school on Friday, another mother said something quite mean to me. The thing that sucks is that I have to see her almost every day. I think being nice to her may not get the message across. Perhaps I will drive her crazy by ignoring her.
