I picked up my daughter from school today and she ran into my arms, just flung herself at me. I got a load of hugs and kisses and she blurted out, "I love you mommy! You're my hero!"
I've still got a lump in my throat.

I'm always glad when the mommies get a chance to be the hero since the daddies get more of that kind of praise!
