Too Strange for a Title

I have no title for this post for the simple fact that it is the strangest, wackiest thing ever.

I observed something I have never, ever seen before. I was out on my lunch break, looking for a Christening outfit for the newest li'l member of our family. When I was driving back to work, there was a man on a motorcycle in front of me.

He looked like a stereotypical biker-dude...big and burly, black bandana and dark sunglasses, tattoos up and down his arms, sleeveless shirt with leather fringe, motorcycle pants, and the requisite Harley Davidson.

But there was something else. I didn't know whether to laugh or cry.

He was...gulp...wearing flip-flops. With socks. Thick athletic socks. The white ones with the gray bottoms. And black flip-flops.

I don't know how he got them on. It scared me. I mean, my first thought was that flip-flops aren't safe on a motorcycle. My second thought was that if that man committed a crime (which I'm sure he didn't, he's probably a very nice man), he'd be picked out of a lineup based on his motorcycle outfit. With socks and flip-flops.

What is the world coming to?

What is it with flip flops? I see people wearing them well into the winter..I don't get it. Flip flops and winter jackets? Flip flops, socks and a Harley?
LOL. I would have peed myself.

wayyyy too many flip flops around of late. Love 'em by the pool, or in Hawaii but elsewhere, not so much!
