"About us? What's to know about us? I had a diary with a kitten on the cover in fourth grade. Does that help?"

I'm not really seeing the metaphor yet, but the picture is pretty sweet. It actually looks exactly like it does on the box!
Tunneling...as in passing through a potential barrier...in our everyday lives...
