The Shoe and a Lesson

This is the shoe...the picture doesn't really do the color justice.
Now, that being said, I have a bit of a problem. I would never admit it in a court of law, but (GULP), mom was right about something. Remember how she always used to tell us that if we kept making faces, our faces would freeze that way?

Shnikeys, she was right. Over the past few months, I've been encountering some personal and professional problems, but in an effort to remain light-hearted about it, I've been fake smiling. This morning, looking at my tired face, I saw two deep, sharp, downward lines on the outer corners of my mouth. Essentially, they're frown lines.
I've got frown lines from fake smiling so much. I went to Walmart on my lunch break and bought some wrinkle plumper so they'll be less noticeable.
Lesson learned. Make that face long enough, and it really will freeze that way.

I bought a pair of brown shoes like this a week or two ago!

P.S. Thanks for the goodies!

I am on the lookout for the perfect pair of wedge sandals, but I know the best shoes just "happen."

And I'm sorry about your fake smile lines...
