Holiday Sister Pact

I promise not to ever get upset--especially as our individual family units grow--if one of us needs or wants to have a separate family Christmas gathering with their own part of the clan. On my MacStewart honor. Even if it's on the same day as the rest of the big clan is gathering! Because I love you all, and I will hug you and squeeze you whenever I get to see you. What say you, sisters? Are you with me?

Oh my word, YES! I've threatened for the past two years not to participate in either family's Christmas. Mom told me that Grandma is really upset, super bent out of shape that we won't be doing the Christmas thing with the extended family. But really, I'm just not in a place to deal with too much right now. I need a quiet, low-key holiay. Preferably with my favorite sisters (um, meaning all of my sisters), some baked potato soup and some red velvet cheesecake. That being said, I know the food I'm bringing to mom's will make you want to come and celebrate Christmas this year!

And um, I meant low-key holiDay. Although, maybe I can come up with some fun definition of "holiay."

P.S. Security word: butwig. Well then.

Did you know the "holiay butwig" is a sharp-toothed snail that slowly eats the b.s. drama from other people? I think we need t-shirts. What does this thing look like? It should be the MacStewart mascot.
