Death by Drapery

a dramedy

dramedy (n): a situation comedy having dramatic scenes

Honestly, that sums-up my experience with redressing the windows over here. I feel like I'm being smothered in different fabrics and textures. If anyone arrives at the sister meeting wrapped in voile, fringe, Dupioni silk, and/or velvet, it is I--or my ghost.

It's an 80's word! 80's words can't possibly count. I demand a rematch!

Merriam-Webster has it as an established word since 1978. Words age better than wine (although I had a 2005 (wine) which I was hesitant to try, but turned out to be wonderful), and, besides, we shouldn't be ageist against words.

So, there.

It's a 70's word.
