Okay, my Sassy Sistahs of the Fancy Hat Society...where the heck is everyone? I met the July challenge on our writing blog--never mind that I just posted it today--so where the heck is everyone else's? Holy crap, this means I'm the first one to finish something. That hardly ever happens.
Funny story. Last week, I found a small slip of paper in my purse with one of my sisters' names on it. I threw it away because I didn't know what it was for. Then I remembered it was for Christmas. Good thing I remembered the name on it! Bwah-ha-ha-ha-ha!
P.S. I slightly increased the size of the font for the posts--I was having a b* of a time seeing the letters on the screen. I don't know if it's my eyes, my computer monitor or something else. If it looked fine to you before, go ahead and switch it back.

Sharing Wisdom
I read this post today and thought it was worth sharing. I especially like her last point.

Chore Play
It's the new foreplay!
I read somewhere a long while ago that most women (specifically, mothers) would trade a night of passion for a solid night's sleep. I agreed then, and I agree now.
See, I love my husband dearly, but every now and then, he gets kind of grumpy with me because I'm tired a lot. A. LOT. As in, ALL. THE. TIME.
Anyway, I just wanted to point out that when a well-meaning husband tells his wife to relax, kick back, veg out, do whatever and take a night off from the regular household chores...it doesn't do the wife any good to come downstairs the next morning and see the same piles of laundry on the couch and the stinky dishes from last night's dinner still sitting on the kitchen table.
Especially after not getting much sleep, because of the aforementioned honey's snoring.
So, for any men out there...a sure-fire way to get your wife in the mood? Let her sleep AND do the dishes for her. She'll remember it a week from now.
