I got a wonderful compliment from one of my co-workers yesterday. She said, "Martha, you just have the best laugh and it makes me feel good."

I can't believe an entire month has gone by so quickly. The big blue eyes are open more often, and the tiny newborn sleepers are getting too small.

It's the same UTI/kidney infection that I've had for two months.

I am NOT happy. After 2 rounds of antibiotics, it's still not gone. My doctor has no explanation. The specialist has no explanation (yet). I'm now starting yet another course of Levaquin--I have to take it for three--count 'em, THREE--more weeks. That means the month of July is going to stink for me, because I have to avoid sun exposure. That means doing all of my gardening in the early morning and late evening hours. And no family trip to the zoo this upcoming weekend. Again, I am NOT happy.

Boo-hoo. I think I'll have a drink tonight before I start the antibiotics. Maybe if I'm tipsy, I won't be so upset.

Mother-In-Law Rule #2319

It's likely that someday I will be a Mother-In-Law.

People are always saying we're just like them.
