I Don't Watch This Show, But I Did The Survey Anyway

Your Score: Dr. Lisa Cuddy

55% Eccentricity, 50% Confidence, 45% Kindness

Congratulations, you're Dr. Lisa Cuddy! You've got a healthy balance of confidence, kindness, and general oddity (because asking a person who works for you to stick a needle in your butt is odd, no matter how hot he may be). You're probably an excellent leader with a good sense of humor. You also probably have a vulnerable side that not many people know about.

Why do I always have to be the nice one?

Your Score: Dr. Allison Cameron

30% Eccentricity, 25% Confidence, 75% Kindness

Congratulations, you're Dr. Allison Cameron! You're without a doubt a big sweetheart, though your caring nature can sometimes make life more difficult than it has to be for you. You aren't the most confident person, but you're growing in this regard, and will probably be very sure of yourself in time. You're the loving and beautiful person many people wish they could be, and you are very strong in your moral beliefs, so be proud.

Strangely Accurate?

Your Score: Dr. Gregory House

55% Eccentricity, 50% Confidence, 30% Kindness

Congratulations, you're the man himself, Dr. Gregory House! You're quite strange, and usually do your own thing regardless of what anyone else thinks. This is partially because a person with an ego as large as yours could not care less what anyone else thinks or feels about anything. Unless, of course, they're your patient and they're dying--but only if they're dying of something interesting! You're a definite asshole to most other people, but at least you know how to be one in style, with an awesome wit, comfortable sneakers, and a never ending variety of facial expressions.

Belly Laughs

I got a wonderful compliment from one of my co-workers yesterday. She said, "Martha, you just have the best laugh and it makes me feel good."

I'm so glad to know that my loud guffaws and snorts can cheer her up!

Time Flies When You're Kissing Baby Feet...

...and baby knees, and the tummy, and little soft cheeks.

I can't believe an entire month has gone by so quickly. The big blue eyes are open more often, and the tiny newborn sleepers are getting too small.

Big News!

Hey sisters (and fellow readers)!

Guess what?

Go on, guess!

Okay, here's a hint.

It has to do with why I've been kind of tired and nauseous lately...

Any guesses??

It also has to do with my achy belly and back...

Think you got it??

I got the test results today...

Did you guess that I'm pregnant??

If you did, you're WRONG!

It's the same UTI/kidney infection that I've had for two months.

I am NOT happy. After 2 rounds of antibiotics, it's still not gone. My doctor has no explanation. The specialist has no explanation (yet). I'm now starting yet another course of Levaquin--I have to take it for three--count 'em, THREE--more weeks. That means the month of July is going to stink for me, because I have to avoid sun exposure. That means doing all of my gardening in the early morning and late evening hours. And no family trip to the zoo this upcoming weekend. Again, I am NOT happy.

Boo-hoo. I think I'll have a drink tonight before I start the antibiotics. Maybe if I'm tipsy, I won't be so upset.

Mother-In-Law Rule #2319

It's likely that someday I will be a Mother-In-Law.

The dreaded MIL.

Today, I vow to follow Rule #2319 (yes, I'm making that up!):

"THOU SHALT NOT ARRIVE UNANNOUNCED BEFORE 8AM."

Hell, I'll do my best to NEVER arrive unannounced!

Independence Day!

Happy Fourth of July!

I'm so glad that I'm free to sit on my rear end in my living room and put up this post. Thanks to our American military personnel for making that happen!

Little Women

People are always saying we're just like them.

But were the characters of Little Women as crazy as we are? (I hope you are as amused as I am that you can find anything on the internet these days, including the full text of your favorite literary classics. But I digress).

Although my point is that I don't think we are nearly as easily compared to Meg, Jo, Beth and Amy as some people my claim --perhaps most especially because I am still alive! --I do, nonetheless have a little theory I would like to test out. So, Sisters, which "Little Woman" are you? Post in Comments and don't lie. (Repeats are allowed).
